PORT OF VANCOUVER, USA ISSUES STATEMENT REGARDING LAWSUIT (3/29/07)

VANCOUVER, Wash.-The Port of Vancouver, USA today was named in a lawsuit claiming wrongful termination.

The following statement was issued by Executive Director Larry Paulson in response to the suit.

“We are aware of the lawsuit, and we dispute the allegations brought forth,” Paulson said. “The Port of Vancouver is prepared to defend itself against the suit. Other than that, this is a personnel issue, and pending litigation.”
