This breakbulk facility, managed by the Port of Vancouver, handles a wide range of commodities including pulp, lumber, plywood, and steel. The Port of Vancouver partners with experienced stevedores and terminal operators to handle a wide configuration of forest products, steel and other commodities.
A 60,000-square-foot marine warehouse specially designed for storing pulp and paper products was added to the port's facility in 1994. The port added an additional 100,000-square-foot general marine cargo warehouse in 1997. In 2006, the Port of Vancouver added an additional 100,000 square feet of warehouse at Terminal 3. As a public port, the Port of Vancouver's Terminal 3 is available to any stevedore to handle various imports and exports from the general cargo docks.
The breakbulk facility has one 80-ST diesel mobile crane with a 150-ft boom for flexible and efficient loading and unloading.
The Port of Vancouver has purchased two Liebherr LHM 500S mobile harbor cranes. These two cranes are the largest heavy lift mobile harbor cranes in North America. Each crane has a lifting capacity of 140 metric tons, weight of close to 500 tons, tower height of 116.5 feet, and a boom length of 174 feet. Each crane is powered by a 12-cylinder MAN diesel engine and is biodiesel-compatible and has a 360 degree turning radius. Combined, the cranes can lift 210 metric tons.

Port of Vancouver's Terminal 2 underwent about $30 million in renovations in the past year. This facility has 1,400 lineal feet of new docks, 40 acres of open storage area, new cranes, upgraded infrastructure, and a terminal entrance that ties in with an access road to Interstate 5 highway. As a public port, the Port of Vancouver's Terminal 2 is available to any stevedore to handle various imports and exports from the general cargo docks.
Terminal 2 is equipped with a Paceco multi-purpose crane with a 51 metric ton capacity and a 115-foot outreach. In addition, the Paceco crane has a turntable and a 20'-40' hydraulic container rack to handle a wide range of project cargoes. This breakbulk facility has one 80-ton mobile crane with a 150-ft boom for flexible and efficient loading and unloading.
A full complement of support equipment is available, including lift trucks and reachstackers with capacities ranging from 3-1/2 to 50 short tons. Our range of special attachments and gear includes prong lifts for steel coils, clamps for paper rolls, and push-pull slip sheets for bag goods, cartons, and boxes.
