    West Vancouver Freight Access rail project

    The port is investing $137 million in the West Vancouver Freight Access rail project to serve the new terminal and further expand current and future customers. Scheduled for completion in 2017, the rail project is expected to reduce congestion on the BNSF Railway mainline and improve freight mobility in the region.

    New mobile harbor crane

    The Port of Vancouver's second Liebherr LHM500 mobile harbor crane is here. These are photos of the new crane being loaded to the Star Heranger in Austria and being discharged in Vancouver.

    The new crane is being discharged from the ship with the port's first crane, which is essentially identical to the new one.
