Drinking Water Quality Report

glass of waterThe Port of Vancouver is designated by the Washington State Department of Health as a Group A Non-Transient/Non-Community water system. As that type of system, the port is not required by federal or state regulations to provide a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) to its users.

Since 2004 the port has provided its water system users with an annual Consumer Confidence Report to keep them informed about the water they use and drink. The report declares whether or not their water meets state and federal health standards. The report will help people make informed choices about the water they drink. Annual reports are issued on or before July 1 of every year.

The Port of Vancouver's water system provides clean drinking water for industrial tenants, water for ships, wash down, irrigation and fire protection. Water for the remainder of the port is provided by the City of Vancouver.
